Some notable freestyle and FPA World Championships accomplishments:
* By winning Women’s Pairs with Emma Kahle, Lisa Hunrichs became the first player to win any division eleven times.
* By sweeping Open Pairs and Open Co-op, Paul Kenny becomes the oldest player (at age 56) to pull off that sweep.
* Paul Kenny and Mehrdad Houssanian go not only dropless but bobble-less to become the first team to receive no execution deductions, not only at the world championships but possibly in any freestyle tournament.
* For the first time since 1996, two teams went dropless in the FPA Worlds Open Pairs finals (Houssanian/Kenny and Hess/Leist). Manuel Cesari nearly made it three, logging only one drop.
